This is weird… Or actually, not! It’s unbelievable and amazing! Let me explain.

I am a member of Pay-It-Forward For Profits and follow their steps to drive traffic to my websites. One of the things I have learnt is to build links. Links are important, very important to be important with Search Engines. Because I was told not to promote affiliate site – the Search Engines don’t like them, I made my own site to promote PIF4P.

Now comes that interesting part. I am on the mailing list of Jonathan Leger who is some sort of a genius guy, I tell you. Few months ago Jonathan tested a system and was looking for few beta-testers. I was neither. Then Jonathan’s the big bang came. The people who join Jon’s new link exchange were ecstatic.

Therefore I decided to give a go and join, too. I submitted my www.payitforwardforprofits.info, and also build another site (this is a totally different story though) and submitted the other one, too.

In the meantime my health started to go spirally downwards and I stayed away from my computer. But, my both websites were sitting there and my one way links were growing slowly but surely on Jonathan’s exchange. I did not pay attention what was going on with them.

Until yesterday…

Clarification on GDI bonuses

I have received some questions about GDI reward program. I would like to clarify that.

GDI pays $100 bonus for any five new confirmed members in a week. Week starts on Monday midnight GDI server time and finishes following Sunday. Confirmed members are the members who passed the trial period and became paying members. If you sponsor eight new members, you will qualify for five; if you sponsor ten members you will qualify for double bonus. EVERY five confirmed members are making new $100 bonus.

Sponsoring is not the only condition for the qualification. You must buy a pack of 10 GDI DVDs. For the members outside US the shipping and handling can be a killer, I do agree with that. However, if you are going to be very active and reach the level of five or more new members, this action is recommended. You need to buy the DVD pack only once, not every week, not every month: only ONCE.

In addition, you must submit your photo and testimonial via email. You must use your PayPal .ws email address to receive the bonus.

I have heard that GDI will keep your bonus until you fulfill all the requirements but I am not sure about it. Because I don’t know, I will submit a ticket and will ask the support to
clarify this for us. I will blast the message for everybody.

Our friends in the United States will are celebrating their Independence Day.

I am a daughter of the country, which produced two great heroes for the fight of independence of the United States of America.

One of them, General Kazimierz Pulaski, "Father of the US Cavalry", fell in a battle at Savannah. Pulaski fled Poland after the Russians arrested and killed his father for defending Poland against the aggressive Russian forces. In Paris he met Benjamin Franklin. The rest is American history.

I was actually very nice surprised when I came the very first time to US to Chicago and found out that one of the major streets there is called Pulaski. The Americans did not forget, thank you.

The other was general Tadeusz Kosciuszko. After the American independence was won, he was given great honours and retirement, which he did not take. He came back to Poland to take a lead in our fight for freedom, he was leading the
Kosciuszko Resurrection, a fight that was destined to fail and soon after Poland was no more taken off the world maps for over 100 years.

Then after the World War II Poland lost its independence to Soviets for the second time. Though Poland was a called independent country, the Soviets did not allow us to be fully free and fully us.

I was born under the Soviet manipulative influence. I grew up and became a young woman in those times. The thought of love of freedom has never left the Polish spirit and many times we looked at the Americans as our example.

Some of you might remember 1980 and the Solidarity movement. That led slowly to Polish independence. This though happened after I left my country.

So even the 4th of July is American holiday, it is universal celebration: a celebration for free and happy human spirit. We ALL were born free. Let us do not forget that and let us rejoice with our American friends when they celebrate one of their greatest holidays.

Lemonade - The Time for Self-Reflection

I was going through the members area and find out that AdlandPro is back in PIF4P members area. This is great resource, networking and advertising tool. Although the upgraded membership is recommended, the free option is available, too.

The Importance of a Business Email Address

Right now I use Yahoo for all of my business dealings online, but I will soon have to get a more professional sounding business email address. Though Yahoo is great for what I need if for, I do realize that many people won’t take me seriously if I have a Yahoo address, or any other web based email address for that matter, as my main contact email. I guess I have to reconsider to go back to my webpage and I will then to start to use my email address through the site: like any .ws address with Global Domains International.

Your business email address can say a lot about you and who you are and what you do. If you have one that comes from a professional site, you are going to look professional. I don’t know if my Yahoo email address has scared away any potential clients, but I certainly don’t want that to happen in the future. I need a good solid business email address to deal with clients, and if you have a business or work online, you need to have the same thing. The very best news is that it really doesn’t have to be that expensive, but this will depend on the volume of traffic you have on your site on any given day.

When you get your own web address, you have the option of having a business email address along with your site. If you get the web address with your name in it, you can have your email address that reflects that name. For example, if you get the domain annahugi.com, you can have a business email address that says Anna@AnnaHugi.com. When you do this, you instantly look more professional in the eyes of those who are going to contact you for business.

I originally picked Yahoo for my business email address because I didn’t know what would happen next. I am grateful for the success I have had, and I like to think that my work speaks for itself, and that my business email address is not a turn off. I chose them because they were not only free; they also have a lot of storage space. I think, however, the time has come to get a better email address, even if it means building a site. In the end, it can only mean good thing for my career, and that is something that is always welcome.

Driving traffic to your PIF4P website: Traffic Swarm

To get traffic to your website needs some patience. Sure – you would like to make money yesterday, as I heard from one member last night. If you longer online, you know how this ends or rather how you end: you’re a program jumper, investing everywhere, getting the next big deal. In short: you are losing money, not making. This is not why we are here, right?

Starting with PFI4P, you should start with Step One and all the free and free trial programs. And after you finish, don’t stop otherwise you will lose your focus. The point is to carry on.

The next step is Fast Start Traffic School.

The essential part of getting traffic to your website, especially if you are new to everything, is setting your Traffic Swarm account.

It is not that difficult to do that, really. Rod of PIF4P forum set up great videos how to start with Traffic Swarm. Even if you are a member for a while, I would suggest going and watching it. You’re never know ift you learn something new. I surely did and I’ve been a member since 2002.

Of course if you can upgrade to Pro, that’s great. With an upgrade, you’ll get quite many goodies and unlimited websites to display. Additionally there is a possibility to make some income as well.

Not everybody can do that, though. I certainly am not in position to upgrade yet, so I take all I can get.

As free member, you can display 10 links and ads. Do all ten about your PIF4P because the most of traffic members are involved in some sort of online business and they don’t want to join just another one. PIF4P can help them to find good prospects to their main business.

Rod explains it quite nicely how to create good subject lines to get the fellow surfer attention. Please, do not get stacked with the suggestions in our members area like: “Only Losers Buy Leads”. I can see hundreds of the same PIF4P ads flowing in front of my eyes each day. I bet nobody is taking them seriously any more.

Now surf, at least one hour a day. You won’t get any signups after one day surfing, don’t even think that. The main point is to stay persistent.

To explain: Traffic exchange industry, although free, is low quality traffic. Why I would send you to low quality traffic? Because is mostly free. Just remember, “free” is a relative word. Your time is worth money, too, you know. Traffic exchanges are for people who don’t have the money to invest in SEO, Pay-Per-Click and so on. With patience and persistence they can create results, too.

Now what is the best browser to surf? I do surf on Mozilla Firefox but not Traffic Swarm though. I have found out that the best way to surf Traffic Swarm is by using the good old Internet Explorer. The reason is the cookies. If you use TS, you may already experienced that the ads you’ve already clicked are somehow shadowed and that prevents you form clicking this ad again. If you do, you waist a click and a clicking point. It’s true, Mozilla does shadow the “clicked” ads, but not all of them. Somehow, there is a glitch in Mozilla program and very often you would click the same ad twice or even three times.

So, where is YOUR focus?

I have my still going on family/kids issues that must take priority; you agree with that I hope. Apart of that, I was involved in a car accident – the second in six months. And again, I was a victim. This time it hit me hard. I landed in the hospital and my car is gone. I will not get into the details of this. I have that argue to write to you since few weeks. The reason for this is that I have received quite many emails regarding joining some other “downline” builders. Guys, I am in nearly ALL of them. Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? Yes, it is.

Now I would like to ask you: where is YOUR focus? Chances are that if you in PIF4P and you are a paid member in GDI, Traffic Oasis, and maybe Success University, what do you need the other downline clubs for? You must promote PIF4P to build a downline AND income not those downline clubs.

Most of them are dealing withtraffic exchangers. Unless you have lots of timeon you to spare and can click whole day to seeresults, you are wasting your time. I do use someof them, that’s true. I surf them together withTraffic Swarm for an hour daily or so. I do notuse ALL of them, though I am a member of most ofthem, too. I know which one are the best, and these are my daily hourly focus. That’s it.

PIF4P provides you with great training for generating traffic. What you need to do, is to make the first step. You do not have to join anything within PIF4P system. You just may use the system to generate traffic to your current website. The training is free. Some tools like Google Ad Words might not be, but the training is!

I know the system works. I know the system works for some others in my downline. Do you know why? Because they use the system and they focus.

So it looks like a one time popular 'scheme' is getting it's day in court. This makes me wonder why on earth do people still fall for these kind of programs. Everyday, someone is constantly getting ripped off and robbed online by thinking they are going to get rich by joining a money making scheme of some kind.

Do you remember my example of the 'slot machine marketer'? For those that may not be familiar with this term, I basically compared some of the opportunities online to slot machines. The price is cheap so people keep jumping from opportunity to opportunity, throwing money at each of them and trying to strike it rich. Guess who wins? The house, and that is the person that owns the opportunity.

For the love of everything that is good online, I wish people would do their homework before investing any amount of money into a business. Especially one that you do not own yourself. If it sounds too good to be true, it is! A real business will not make you rich in 30 days. You will not be making thousands a day overnight. And there is no 'set it and forget it' in online business.

Online business is just getting started and we are a new industry in the big scheme of things. And new people are always coming online to look to make money. Let's all do our part and spread the message to 'RUN AWAY FROM SCAMS!'

How To Avoid Working 24 Hours a Day At Your Home Business

We all know how important it is to work hard to get your home business up and running and off the ground. We also know that when your home business is located right in your home, it is all too easy to get a few extra hours of work in after you eat dinner, or to get up early to work a little bit more in the morning. However, the fact remains that most of the people who are working at home businesses have decided to do this so that they can control what hours they work, and so that they can have more time to themselves to do the things that they have always wanted to do. If you find yourself working too much, and you know that you are in danger of working longer hours than you did at your old job, here are some ways to avoid becoming a 24 hour a day worker again.

Hours

First and foremost, no matter what your business is, you need to have working hours. This is for your benefit. If you have an online site or an online store, you are going to be open 24 hours a day, but this doesn’t mean that you have to be at your computer for the entire day. You need to set hours for yourself, and these hours will have to include time to process whatever has come in while you aren’t working. There is a danger in sitting at your computer all day to take orders in the hopes of keeping up with them, because you will find that you never leave. Believe me, this is very easy as I tend to stay in that category of marketers.

If you find that you have too much work, and not enough time, this means that you are taking on too much. You have to be sure that you are only working as much as you can handle to work, or that you are delegating tasks to make sure you aren’t having to work all day and all night. This is something that a lot of people fail to do, and it can be something that is very dangerous, because giving out tasks is the best way to make sure all of your work gets done. If you find yourself with too much, you’ll end up working more than you want to be working, so be sure to find help, or hire some if you need it. Something else that you can be sure to do is to give yourself a break now and then. Remember that you don’t have to take every project that comes your way, and remember that you can be allowed a sick day when you are sick. These things are important, and are also vital to keeping your sanity as well as your business.

The theme of yesterday’s workshop was the invite system in your GDI back office.

GDI members are allowed to send 100 invitations a day. The best (and cheapest) leads to use with them are the OppSeekers leads. Some members are using Key2Net leads. GDI accept both companies as long as we keep the IP and date stamp of the leads in our database, just in case.

For every unique lead – person who does response to the invitation and visits either the website or watch 7-minute presentation we get three more invitations.

The very new thing I learnt:

You should already know that with Premium Leads we build the personal contact list, right? We follow up with them, and follow up and follow up until either we had enough and quit – not recommended! – or the contacts unsubscribe from the list.

What I did not know, we can actually use ALL people who viewed our message to add to our contact list as long as we follow the basic email marketing guidelines! If you are actively using GDI invite system and have no results in generating Premium leads, I would like to suggest: change your subject line from general:

Those are proposals I heard on the GDI traninigs/workshops and I implemented them into my daily routine.

I must tell you that since I started to change the subject on the invitation emails, my Premium leads jumped from one in few months to at least five in a week.

To check if you’ve got a Premium lead you must login to your GDI members area and look at the statistic. GDI stopped sending notification emails for some reason and it is up to you to see if you received any Premium leads.

After you get your premium leads, you must follow up YOURSELF. Do not rely on GDI follow up only. The personal touch counts. If you want the follow up emails I am using, send me a note, I will share it with you, no matter if you in my GDI downline or not (PIF4P members).

Confusion: PIF4P versa 3 Step Marketing

I have caused much confusion between the members who joined 3 Step Secret by throwing them into PIF4P pot, I suppose.

There are two members’ areas for PIF4P people. One: for those who join PIF4P and those who joined 3 Step Secret. Those two members’ areas used to be the same. Because of that, I did not check 3 Step Secret back office at all until… I started to read some posts on the PIF4P forum. Have you registered yet? You must I tell you.

That is where I found that there are very new letters sent to 3 Steps members. Now, after much shoveling between the autoresponder lists everybody is the right spot (I think).

Nevertheless, here is the message for the true PIF4P members: if you did not start your checklist in your back office start here now:

The usernames and passwords are the same as for the PIF4P. The truth is, PIF4P back office can be very confusing, especially for internet newbie. It actually may put one off and the new member will not do anything because it is to “hard”.

My suggestion therefore is to start in 3 Step Secret members’ area, and go there through the marketing steps, they are clearer and you do not have to absorb so much information, either. There are just eleven steps. This is also true for the PIF4P members – to begin their marketing journey in 3 Steps Secret.

It is also very important that one registers and VISITS the forum. I did not visit for some time and I missed on valuable information; that was the reason for moving my downline members between autoresponders. I had to move my 3 Step members to right email sequence.

Lesson here: one can learn from his own mistakes; but one can also learn from mine :).

Another thing, very important, really: Please, please, come to the workshops. I know many may have some computer issues; I do have them myself. I have been kicked off the conference room, lost connection, the conference lost me… I had been still logged in at my end but they did not have me…

At least listen to the recordings. You’ll get great information.

Once one joined that wonderful program called: Pay-It-Forward 4 Profits and they feel lost: what should they do? So many programs to join, so much stuff to learn…

Well, Janet says, signup for a program and then go to the next. If you can’t afford ALL, that’s fine. Start with GDI and Response Magic and then work yourself up. I did it and it works fine. Don’t be stuffed with any program; don’t try to learn all the basics. After you singed up, go to your 3 Step (PIF4) members’ area and fill out your affiliate link. Don’t dwell too long in Traffic Oasis or Success University.

Start promoting your PIF4P or 3 Step Secret website. The truth is I did sponsored most of GDI members just by promoting the PIF4P or 3 Steps.

Yes, I do fill out the invitations in my GDI members’ area every day; that belongs to my daily routine and it takes just few minutes by using the invite filler. But I really DO get most GDI downline by promoting PIF4P!

of Jon Olson and I felt I must reprint it here. Even I haven't known better but I do. Speaking of seen that, done that. Yep, that's me! I am sure, you, the valued opportunity seeker, can relate to this sort of stuff, scammed x-times and still falling for another one!

With that I am sooooo glad, I have found PIF4P. Working it hard and it start to pay off! Finally something that is different and doesn't have anything to do with the great article by Tim Whiston I copied and pasted below. And you know, it helps you to promote YOUR business if you've go a genuine and legitimate one, too.

The Work from Home Farce - Rethinking the Term 'Business Opportunity'

Few people would consider a trip to the casino a lucrative business opportunity. Yet every day on the World Wide Web, thousands of people invest their money into obvious scams claiming to be internet business opportunities.

What comes to your mind when I say 'business opportunity'? This is a broad term that could easily apply to dozens of scenarios.

For example, someone with an interest in running their own restaurant might see a great deal on a piece of commercial property as a business opportunity. And a young person with a pick-up truck and a set of strong garden tools might seize the opportunity to start their own landscaping business.

Of course these are just two quick examples off the top of my head. Not everyone has the investment capital to buy up commercial real estate, or the aptitude for hard physical labor needed to plant large trees and build stone retaining walls.

But there is surely an opportunity for every budget and skill set. Sometimes it just takes a little creativity and open-mindedness to spot a potential venture.

Of course the reality is most people have no desire to be either creative or open-minded. They say they are looking for a business opportunity, but all they really want is a hand out.

Enter the age of farcical work from home "opportunities".

If you spend a significant amount of time surfing the web, you have no doubt seen your share of alleged business opportunities being promoted. In fact, it�s hard to make it through an entire day of being online without seeing phrases like 'turn-key business' or 'proven wealth system' at least a dozen times.

Almost all of these ludicrous programs are built on the premise of recruiting people who pay for the opportunity to make money. These individuals are then required to refer other people to the 'opportunity' in order to accrue commissions.

Some systems use a product or service as the basis of their referral program, i.e. over-priced health products, information products, etc. But quite often the entire business model is based on recruiting new members who then pay a monthly membership fee.

I should point out that any program that relies solely on the membership fees of new recruits to pay existing participants is a blatant ponzi scam. Such systems are illegal in the U.S. and many other nations.

Of course there are ample ways around this in the wonderful world of business law. And numerous companies have found loopholes and technicalities that enable them to operate (often barely) within the legal framework.

But the point of this article is not to debate the law as it concerns the structure of so-called business opportunities. Many programs that are compliant with FTC regulations are still very much scams in the truest sense of the word.

Consider this:

A website promotes a 'business opportunity' to millions of people via the Web. Every individual who decides to join the website and participate in the perceived opportunity is required to pay at least a nominal fee, and usually on a recurring basis.

According to research compiled by the FTC and numerous independent consumer research firms, approximately 1% (and less according to some studies) of everyone who participates in this type of business model ever sees a profit.

But what about all the money being paid into these work-from-home opportunity sites by millions of people every year? How can it be that less than 1% of all these people ever see a return?

It�s simple. This is exactly how these systems are designed to work.

The individuals and organizations that found these dubious opportunity systems and then mass market them to a population of gullible, lazy, and unimaginative cyber citizens enjoy multi-million dollar profits.

In reality, operating a work-from-home opportunity site is much like running a casino. Lots of people are going to pay to play, as it were, but almost nobody is going to leave the floor with any money. Close to 100% of the revenue put into the system by the participants is absorbed by the business owners.

So the only people exploiting a true business opportunity are those who conceive, launch, and promote these programs in the first place. The members who participate in the system are, at best, independent sales representatives and, at worst, suckers caught in the con game.

This is such an obvious fact that it should require no emphasis. Yet people continue year after year to dump their hard-earned money into business opportunity scams, and then whine and moan about their losses after the fact.
